Air Engraving Pens

Two-bearing and three-bearing micro pens, kits and sets · 7 models

Air engraving pens — micro die grinders — are used where a full-size grinder is too heavy: sign layout, jewellery work, mould texturing and fine deburring. Two-bearing bodies suit general engraving and polishing; three-bearing bodies hold runout tighter for continuous production duty. Kits ship with burrs, hose and case.

Two-Bearing Engraving Pens

Three-Bearing Engraving Pens

How to choose

  • Bearing count — two-bearing for intermittent detail work, three-bearing for long production runs where runout matters.
  • Kits vs bare tool — kits include burr assortment, hose and a moulded case, which is what most first-time buyers need.
  • Hose connection — check the inlet thread against your existing couplings to avoid an adapter on day one.
  • Air supply — micro pens need clean, dry, lubricated air; an inline filter-regulator-lubricator pays for itself here.

Typical applications

  • Sign and plate engraving
  • Jewellery and craft detailing
  • Fine mould texturing
  • Precision deburring
  • Glass and ceramic etching
